All-new version of our emigrants' database published!

Usually, computer folks say: "Never change a running system!" - In the beginning of 2005 I did so anyway, because I had discovered a new genealogical database software (called Family Historian), which I have been working with ever since. That was one of the best decisions I ever made.

The main drawback was that my emigrants' database didn't work any more, because the software hadn't converted all database fields correctly. Since then, I've been working at adapting all entries to the new software. It couldn't be done automatically because there were so many details to observe.

Well - as of June 2nd, it is done. So, instead of a little over 2000 entries we had published before, we are now at well over 8000 entries. Take a look:
